Sweet Adelines International HELP Back Navigating This Site Contact Us Admin Login FWD SPRING division contests CANCELLED April 27, 2020 — The Far Western District Board of Directors met this evening , and after reviewing the options given the current COVID-19 situation, including the Society's decision to cancel the 2020 International in Los Angeles, they have decided to CANCEL ALL Division Contests this Spring . Members who made hotel reservations are advised to contact the hotel and cancel as soon as possible. This does NOT cancel the Fall Convention Cruise. There are positive signs that the ultimate danger might be lessening, and right now we’re still optimistic the Fall convention on board the Carnival Cruise ship will still take place. if the cruise is cancelled by Carnival, you will be entitled to a 100% refund. However, if you cancel now on your own, you will not get back your deposit. So, stick with your plans to have a great time in October, and let’s hope it happens. Regarding the divisional registration fees , refunds are available now through May 31. You also have the ability to DONATE your registration fees to help the FWD recover from financial losses.
